Hundertwasser Toilets

The Huntertwasser Toilets is a public toilet in the small North Island town of Kawakawa. They were designed by the reclusive expatriate artist Friedensreich Huntertwasser who lived here from 1975 until his death in 2000 - and features the use of recycled materials from the local community. We stopped here in our way North for a little family history get together over the weekend. Looking forward to catching up with cousins and exploring some of the parts of this area I've not been to before. Stopped for lunch at the Quarry Gardens in Whangarei featuring a lot of sub tropical plants . I will try and upload extras if possible. Have a lovely weekend everyone.
