Curtains at last
We've lived here for just over 4 years. This was the first room we painted. It's big enough to be a single bedroom, but we use it as a dressing room, and when Robin is staying, it doubles as a nursery. We've been managing with a single, temporary curtain.
I always planned to make curtains with the left over of the ticking used to cover our bedroom chair - but when I came to actually measure up the project, there wasn't quite enough material - another few inches would have been enough! So I had to buy some more, and opted for a "cream stripe on blue" instead of the more common blue stripe on cream.
Note the wardrobe last seen in the living room is now safely in place.
It really feels like spring - I've got the energy to tackle some projects. The next job is to redo more of the webbing on the garden room chairs - almost every time we sit in them we hear or feel a "twang" as yet another of the original straps breaks! In fact, W won't sit in them any more - I think he's worried about falling through.
