Georgian Theatre

This beautiful private residence was originally the first purpose-built theatre in Harrogate. The Georgian Theatre was opened in 1788, having been funded by the owner of the nearby Granby Hotel (which previously hosted touring companies in its barn). The theatre closed in 1830.
