a frosty morning

I had to de-ice the car before driving the few miles to Rydal. Just a short walk along the riverbank and then the shore of Rydal Water. Coming back I saw what I thought was a duck diving. When it didn't resurface I realised it may not have been a duck. Then up popped two otters.
