Pretty in pink

The magnolias have suddenly burst into bloom, and despite the weatherman's forecast of overnight frost, they are looking stunning. This one is outside the pink cottage in the centre of the village where I go to visit my dentist. Not today, thankfully.
Bitter cold wind today so I didn't stay outside for long.
Normous joined a new choir after Christmas and has worked hard learning new music, ready fir a concert this evening. He has been practicing all this week at home. Then, this morning, he woke with a very croaky voice and has had to cry off! We will both go along to listen to everybody else singing. So sad!
