The Blue Lamp

The police sign outside Charing Cross Police Station. 



The Blue Lamp was a 1950 film starring Dirk Bogarde and Jack Warner. It was the forerunner to the famous police series 'Dixon of Dock Green'. It was also the name of the club house at the Police Cadet School, Hendon.
