Blue Tit

A great day for a walk .... dry, bright and dare I say it was almost warm with temperatures reaching double figures. We decided to go to New Lanark where we enjoyed our coffee and scone before setting out to walk up to the Falls of Clyde.

This little blue tit was flitting among the high branches way out of camera reach but eventually he did alight, briefly, on a much lower branch and for once I was ready!

I spent some time in the garden .... the grass is still too damp to cut but I did give the edges a trim which makes things look a little better.
