South Downs

Today we decided to take advantage of the dry conditions and head towards Firle, more specifically, The Ram Inn. It involved a little walk on the old coach road which runs in the shadow of the South Downs between Eastbourne and Brighton.Got wrapped up warm and soon had to disrobe (just the top layer), as the early spring sunshine gave an unbelievably warm glow; almost as warm as the glow from the pint of Harvey's at the Ram!
