Sunset .....

A dry day ! Took the chance to finish clipping the rest of next weeks sale blks before lunch. The auctions fieldsman called in just as I was on the last one to see them and to see if I had any heifers ready to kill yet . Nothing ready yet but will keep piling the feed into them and see what they are like in a few weeks.
The silage pit here nearly empty so started bringing some from next door to feed the cattle in the slatted shed . Hope the change of diet doesn't put them off for a day or two.
Took the dogs for a quick walk tonight to see if the stubble had started to dry up enough to plough yet. There was a lovely orange sunset , something we haven't seen for the last week or so !
