Wordsworth's Daffodils
"Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. "
Wordsworth (of course!)
I like to come and do a blip every year of Wordsworth's daffodils. TodayThe Man remarked how different they are to modern cultivars. The petals droop around the corona, rather than form a firm "collar", I hadn't noticed this before.
So, a lovely day down on the shores of Ullswater!
