Al fresco dining in Scotland

It must have been around 20 degrees in Edinburgh at lunchtime today and this is one of the VERY few places in the West End where you can enjoy lunch outside. There is nobody there!! Yes, there was a decent breeze but this spot was very sheltered. I just don't think we have the mediterranean/European al fresco mindset!
