Thankyou all for your comments, stars and faves for my 200th yesterday. It really is a great community here on Blip. Sorry for not replying individually, but the course up here is taking up all of the day.

Today was a classroom day on B&W conversion in Photoshop. Little opportunity for heading out during the day, so a few of us decided to take an early morning trip up to the shores of Bassenthwaite before breakfast to get a few photos in. We got some lovely shots across the lake, but on the way back the clouds parted slightly and let some stunning rays of sun through.

This was one of many shots I got of the sun coming through - though it was a tough call between this and a very soft high key shot looking up Bassenthwaite.

Back out on the fells tomorrow - hoping it will either be up at the coast or over to Martindale which looks stunning - but as ever the weather will decide.
