On to the next step...

G got a call early this morning asking her to come in within 90 minutes to start her Radiotherapy!!! Didn't make it in 90 minutes but within 3 hours, I had dropped her off and after parking the car and walking what seemed like a mile... I made it to the clinic to get this blip...

The bluish sign above the door in the background reads "CONTROLLED AREA". Words you see all over the place in this clinic. I was lucky to be allowed into the room again to photograph the machine and then watched on the monitors as the technicians delivered the treatment. Fascinating. 'Fraid you may have to put up with some Radiotherapy blips over the next few weeks, if only to appreciate how positively technology can be utilised.

1 down, 24 more to go... G looking forward to getting this next phase over & done with. New technology means minimal side effects. No damage to the heart, liver or kidneys which is a huge plus.
