Mark's Last Day

FRIDAY

I was back at work in Huddersfield today. 

It was the last day at work for Mark our Head of Service. I have known Mark for longer than I care to remember. In my previous career as an Environmental Health Officer I used to work with Mark in relation to pollution control issues in buildings that he managed. Our paths crossed again when his son attended the same sixth-form college as our daughter Harriet.

And three years ago I returned to  work in Mark's department managing some of the buildings in the council's portfolio.

Mark invited us all to a get-together after work. I wish him all the best for the future.
