A very happy birthday - to me

It's my birthday. I worked on campus until about 6:30pm, then headed home for the celebrations.

Here I am with my two best presents. Val arrived at Waverley this evening on a (very delayed) train from London just before 8pm. Katherina (the Russian Party Princess), who arrived earlier in the day, was at home with Mr hazelh eager to greet us and start the party weekend.

Mr hazelh cooked a delicious dinner for the four of us. It included lobster thermidor as a first course, steak, and birthday cake.

The next couple of days promise lots and lots of fun.

Exercise today: walk to work and back again via Waverley Station (15,489 steps).
