By Himself

By Himself

To make the most of a bright, mostly warm day (except when exposed to a fresh east wind), I set out on a big loop known as 'The Poet's Way'. It takes in both sides of the Sheep's Head peninsular, along the north side to the lighthouse and then back on the south side. Plenty of happy walkers about today enjoying the scenery in the sunshine.
Out for 6 hours covering 16kms (nearly 10 miles) over sometimes steep, rocky or boggy ground making the going relatively slow but this route passes through some of my favourite places, so all good.
