Dawn, Tobermory

Cathleen and I were on Mull last night and as we drove from the ferry at dusk the light in the western sky was wonderful - a rich , red sunset.

Dawn this morning was even better , with an orange glow right across the eastern horizon.  Seen from Tobermory looking  down the Sound of Mull it was spectacular and I was lucky to wake just in time to get the picture. 

My extra shot is of the Lochaline Ferry arriving at Fishnish .  We took this route back for the first time and although the drive is longer in today's wonderful weather it was well worth it.
