Good Grief 245
Changes
I find myself having a renewed sympathy for the forces of heat and pressure that must have been exerted on this bit of rock. If we could harness the heat of the population of menopausal women we'd not need to look any further for renewable energy. The exhaustion of heat and chill, lack of sleep, deteriorating sight, aches, feeling of loss of vitality and sense of a life ebbed.
Today I had some anticipation of the first week off for five years where there is nothing really to do. I had felt momentarily anxious about it last week and wondered about heading off down south to a friend's or back to do more sorting at mum and dad's but then decided to not to go anywhere. So, we'll see ... I'm writing this on Saturday (25th) and not the best of starts.
