First Day in the Garden

A glorious day, from beginning to end.  A first opportunity to spend a day in the garden, partly to repair damage caused by Storm Doris last month, then to trim and cut, clean and tidy.

New growth is everywhere, the rhododendron is coming into flower and herbaceous plants are expanding from their winter dormancy.  Trying to differentiate between ornamental plants and weeds has to be done with some care.  

It is fascinating here on blip to see different seasons in adjacent photographs.  A sure sign of the international nature of our membership.
