Sleepy Mermaid

Today has been lovely. Started with a return to spin for me and Ona. It's been ages but we did pretty well.
Then met a friend I haven't seen for a long time, for coffee. Was good to catch up on news and bemoan the state of the nation.
Then to Sheffield for the Mother's Day trip organised by The Teen. Having dropped bags off at the hotel, which is in a lovely setting, we hit the shops. Purchases included the mermaid blanket in which she's collapsed after the spa and supper in the hotel bar. We also managed to catch up
with my nephew , who is at uni here.
Pretty chilled and I've managed to feel a decent distance from recent events at work.
