Birthday in the sun

The dog had a restless night, think he was trying to work out where Charlotte was!

My birthday today so I opened some presents and cards before hubby and I took the dog for a good walk round Newmillerdam. Got treated to a lovely pub lunch and Barney was really good sitting outside with us.

Missed Charlotte but one of her teachers has sneaked me a few Facebook messages through the day and then I got a lovely surprise when the phone rang and she was on the other end. They don't normally let the kids call home as it unsettled them but the deputy head had found out it was my birthday and rang me so she could wish me happy birthday.
