Yellow Tuesday

Went for a lunchtime walk to the Alderton Canal Nature Reserve again. Got to take a picture of the info board, but the camera froze when I came to the ducks. They were all sitting on a cement slap in the middle of the canal. A worker came past & said they used to fish in there when he was a kid. Neither of us was prepared to fish in those waters today.

Was a sunny & warm day. When I got home from work it was dark & a storm was threatening, but it was warm. When I went out later to close the chickens (who were still hunting buffalo in the undergrowth) it was cool & wet. I couldn't work out whether it was thick fog or very light rain.
