Whittington Castle

Today we met Michelle's family after being invited to her dad's 60th birthday. Michelle is Dan's girlfriend and they have been together for nearly two years. We had a lovely time but we're not really social butterflies so struggled with talking to people we'd only just met! The TV was on for the rugby and we watched a disappointing English loss after they were outplayed by the Irish who stopped them getting the double Grand Slam.
Whittington Castle was on the way to Ellesmere where Michelle lives so we stopped to take a few pictures on the way in this very picturesque village.
