Art Class

To the Hockney exhibition. A huge show. But lots of people. So here's what I did, Blipmates - got in soon after it opened and trotted to the last room and worked backwards. So the later galleries were nearly empty. It is very good indeed, if you like Hockney. Loads of bright and uplifting colour. But also one room full of charcoal pictures of country lanes in winter. Very well executed.

There's a sense of joy and contentment with life in his pictures.

It was great to see these children being given an introduction by one of the Tate guides. A super way to introduce them. They were interested and attentive.
