Family Stroll.....

We made the most of the weather and a lull in dealing with my dad. 

We walked from Ilam in The Peak District, via Bunster Hill and Ilam Tops and through Dovedale Woods. We had thought about walking back to Ilam Hall via Dovedale itself, but we felt we hadn't walked far enough. So instead we headed off along the River Dove to Stanshope and back to Ilam from there.

A great White Peak walk with plenty of warm sunshine, not to much mud and lambs in every field. A perfect Spring walk.

We popped in to see dad on the way back. He was fine but very much in the muddled world that is Dementia.
