I keep this in the book I'm reading to cheer me up on days like these when life is a little frustrating. Today the car and the hoover both stopped working....I mended the hoover, although it took me quite a while. The car is beyond my expertise, something electrical. Just hope it can be fixed before we go on holiday in 2 weeks'  time :-0

On the plus side, I had a very nice cycle ride up to Dunscore, for Kay's farewell lunch in the village hall. I read my book in the garden and enjoyed hearing the birds singing their little hearts out. Even dried two lots of washing outdoors! Could get used to this kind of weather...
