Clapper Rail
This is the first decent photo I've gotten of a Clapper Rail. This secretive bird has a rattling call and is sometimes seen darting in and out of the reeds and marshes here at Sweetwater Wetlands Park. The Eastern Ribbon Snake was sunning herself on a quiet roadway, which is used only by service vehicles. Wishing you all a Peaceful Week. :)
March is Women's Herstory Month so I will be sharing the words of women photographers with you...
"Photograph the world as it is. There is nothing more interesting than reality."
