Spring violets

How I love them! They grow along the sides of the road, such beautiful bursts of colour. These are such a delicate shade.

I was delighted to get home to find some lovely flowers from my son for Mother's Day, even though he's on his travels on the other side of the world. Such a thoughtful chap.
