Spring Tipple!!

A beautiful Spring day, not a cloud in the sky, so my plan was to get out in the garden and crack on with a few jobs. But by the time I'd cooked Mothering Sunday lunch (nothing as fancy as my brother's cooking, but still all my mum's favourites), the day was nearly over!

Mind you, I think another reason for not getting any gardening done today could have something to do with this very nice bottle of 1998 Baron Philippe de Rothschild Saint Croix du Mont! As you may be able to tell, I dug the bottle out from the bottom of my wine cellar (aka the garage!), complete with 18 years' worth of spider poo and cobwebs!! Don't worry though, it did nothing to spoil the delicious honey tones of our Spring tipple...
