Through a Filter Darkly
Beautiful bright sunny day down here in Campbeltown.
Grocery shopping over we headed south to Carskey beach.
At Carskey we walked along with Maeve to the far end and came back again. Thin fleece jumpers were almost too warm. Maeve was very slow but there is no doubt she still loves being on a beach. No paddling but she did get her paws wet when the tiny waves broke and ran up the wet sand. One seal appeared and had a look at us when we were walking along. No Gannets.
Fascinated by the Experimental Photography Challenge this week kindly hosted and conceived by Markus Hediger.
Created a home made filter using a plastic tub lid which I distressed with a stone then coloured with a felt pen.
I then took this shot of my bird's skull then played a bit with the colours.
My extra is the B&W version of the same image :-)
