Bluetit

Today's the day ....................... to nest

A pair of bluetits have been seen recently around one of the nestboxes -  enough for us to hope that they are thinking of building a nest.  Just a bit unusual though for this one to be pecking away at an alternative hole to the nice round one already provided.

Perhaps they are really looking for a des. res. with a bit more internal light ............................ ?
