Against the sun

After a slow start (you don't get breakfast in bed every day), we headed to the seaside. We left the masses of walkers behind us and were alone (most of the time) - perfect. When I was talking this picture, I thought I maybe shouldn't photograph directely into the sun...? Would it have an effect on my eyes..? Anyway, this is straight out of the camera. I didn't even crop it.

Strange what bereavement and grief does to you and how you feel about things. We were a bit sad too, but I was mainly thinking of the people, who have lost their mother and for whom today was a sad day.
