Mother's Day rose

I got this rose from church today - all the ladies get a rose on Mothering Sunday.

My son gave me a colouring book and some fantastic Staedtler brilliant colour fineliner pens. I can now do fiddly colouring, which I couldn't before. I also want to experiment with shading.

He made sure I had fun today - we played MarioKart racing game together on the Wii - he is much better at it than I am, but it was still fun! He also went on a walk with me - the weather was lovely and sunny. Then the three of us caught up with some tv viewing.
