Ripe At Last!

For weeks I’ve been testing the apples on my Cox’s Orange Pippin tree, but they have been starchy. However, now the apples that get the most sunshine (the bright red ones) are ready to eat. I love fresh-picked Cox’s apples.

We are having proper rain today. Instead of the usual 2 or 3 mm, we’ve had 14mm and it’s still raining.
