Glasgow Cross

Glasgow has some magnificent old architecture. The Tolbooth steeple at Glasgow Cross dates back to the 17th century.
It was once a city chambers, jail, courthouse and place of punishment. Criminals used to be hanged here and the steeple is 126ft high.
It's one of only a handful of medieval buildings left in the city and is pretty impressive.
