Homemade Sin

One of my favorite live bands, Dan Baird & Homemade Sin. We did a detour to Cincinnati from New York just to see them. This was in an old converted church in a venue called The Southgate House Revival.

This makes the band the only one I have seen in two different churches. They other church they played in was in London when they did their first ever acoustic set in St Pancras Old Church which then got made into an album.

Interesting fact number two, they almost never play with a set list, Dan says he never gets to mane any other decisions on tour, so he chooses the songs, and while he'll have a rough set list in his head, he'll change things in an instant. However, there was a set list for the acoustic gig, and he is currently using a setlist because they have so many new songs he can't keep it all in his head. I managed to get a copy of the setlist from both those gigs. Even then, in the acoustic set, they added an extra number, Another Chance, in memory of Ian McClagan who passed away that night.
