Spring Has Sprung!
What a glorious spring morning, so warm that it could even be a summer's day. I popped down the track hoping to see butterflies and I wasn't disappointed. I saw a few Speckled Woods on the ground and then tatty Peacocks and a Comma enjoying the Blackthorn blossom.
I also caught glimpses of a very cute Long-tail Tit with a big feather in it's beak. Unfortunately I couldn't get any photos as it was right in amongst the blossom. Oh but what a shot that would've been!
I've added a mono version to extras for today's optional Mono Monday theme of OPEN for as the butterfly's wings are open.
Thanks Skeena for hosting this month.
