Another little bit of local history...

... for my Monday blip. I found a photo closely linked to the picture I used last Monday.

Here we see the other part of the block, where workmen can be seen converting the residential properties for commercial use in 1925.Of special interest is the way the workmen were dressed (almost as if they dressed up for the photo-shoot!). I made sure to include people in the 'Today' shot, in this case collecting pizzas for delivery by motorbike
