This pretty little plant is very useful because it likes growing in shady areas. I noticed the first bright white flowers had opened this morning. I have no idea why they're white - they used to be a deep periwinkle blue. I love the shiny green leaves. It can be a bit invasive but I don't mind because it's filling a shady corner and following on nicely from the bunches of self-set snowdrops. There are lots of buds, maybe we'll get a few blue flowers too.
