Mothers' Day - Birker Fell

No 1 son is staying for the weekend which is lovely.  Phone call and flowers from No 2 son.  

Phone call from Dad with his shopping order.  He has managed somehow to turn the volume off on his iPad and so is struggling to hear and be heard when using FaceTime.   I tried to help over the phone to sort it out for him but to no avail.  Very frustrating.  No 1 son said he will remind me of this when I am old and need help!  Nice.

Glorious weather continues and we drove over to Wastwater to see what was going on there.  Lots of people out enjoying the wonderful sunshine and warmth.  Pottered about there and had a picnic (in March!).


Home via a nice tea shop - well you have to - and via Birker Fell with the Scafells int he distance..
