The Time of My Life...

Chester is very beautiful.

We drove 4 miles from the house we were living in, straight... one road.  Into car park, as described by our landlady, and wandered the five minutes to the north gate, and walked into the city.

We wandered up and down the pretty streets and then headed back to the Market Square, and took a Victorian Bus tour around the city.

We heard about the Grosvenor Family,  a lady who gave birth to 15 sets of twins- all Boy and Girl, and all survived through infancy, plus 3 other children.   The Roman Amphitheater, The Wall, the Weir, the movement of the river from Chester to Liverpool...

It was great.

we had another bimble once we got off, and stopped for coffee and cake.

Then we had a stroll around the walls, watched a Beluga Airplane land , and visited the cathedral.

Then we went back and sat in the sunshine of the patio for an hour, before heading out to the Cinema.

And then we slept, again.
