A view from Cockermouth

A busy busy day today.  Misty did well again for walks.  Bitts Park in Carlisle this morning, then this afternoon a blip meet with Ros and Trevor Earthy, and Sue and Ray (Derwentlass), where we sat in the sunshine and had a natter over a cuppa and cake.  Sue brought along her photo books of her blips which hopefully will spur me into action!  The cottage is looking wonderful again after the floods and its incredible how high the flood water  was.

We then had a riverside walk to the castle which you can see in this blip.  Lots of dogs between us, Misty, Chloe, Rip and Fonzie.  Afterwards I took Misty to Bassenthwaite for a dip in the lake to cool down and of course there was a sunset tonight and have put one in Extras.  Misty had a great run around with a whippet who was leaping over the holes on the marsh like a gazelle.
