Sun in the trees

We've recently been using a path in Benmore Botanic Gardens new to us - driven there in the first instance by workmen digging holes in the path for pipe-laying. This middle section, where the path is less steep, is rather gorgeous on a sunny day, with the sun slanting through the tall trees onto the mossy hillside.

It could have been summer today, warm enough to walk in a t-shirt and drink a G&T in the garden before cooking dinner. I'm going to take it ill when normal service is resumed ...
