Carousel

We had a late start this morning so unfortunately missed most of the sun. by the time I got on the sun lounger, within ten minutes the had sun drifted away and it started to pour down. The pool was even too cold to get in.
So we decided to head down into Nice and walk round the Musee Des Beaux Arts which I thought the works of Monet, Renoir and Sisley were in but unfortunately they had disappeared.... Anyway the art was fairly interesting but didn't take us long to walk round.
Afterwards we went to the famous Negresco Hotel for a drink and to have a quick look around. The ballrooms and bars were incredible, Very decadent and flamboyant with huge chandeliers and brightly coloured walls.
We then walked along the Promenade Des Anglais where we came across this fairly regal carousel which I thought deserved a photograph.
We then decided to go for dinner at this amazing Truffle restaurant where everything you ate had truffles in it. Even for pudding there were shavings of truffle. I have never been so full in my life and can't wait to lie down.
