The Return of the Toddlers

Laurie has been on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks, which means the house has been toddlerless for that long. When they come back from just a few weeks away at this age, they've changed so much. This little guy is now walking and has some new words ("banana") and new teeth. He still likes to flirt with me, though it took a few minutes for him to warm up. He loves to press his little face against the window, then squeal with delight.

It's nice to have a break, to reclaim adult space for a little while. But we do miss them after a bit.
