Orange Dahlia.....

Well I can't believe it's the first of September..... the start of our Autumn.....
The evenings are getting shorter and the mornings are getting a very Autumnal feel..
but we are having glorious weather..... and boy, what has survived of my flowers loving the sunshine.....
This is my 'fiery orange Dahlia' I love Dahlias, and I know, I know almost impossible to stop the slugs eating them and the earwigs living in them....
I still think they are one of the nicest flowers, maybe because of so many varieties and endless combinations of colours....
I think one of the finest displays of them that I've seen is at the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin....
