Pub that was! This is all that remains of a local pub on the hills. A great shame it is gone after 2 fires (arson is suspected). I've eaten there many times over the years. However my favourite memory is back in the 70's when I had had an argument with my mother and I stormed out and marched up the hill (steep) for half a mile to this pub only to realise I'd left home without my wallet or any loose change! Luckily however I'd got my keys so could creep back in......and apologise for being such a ........!
