Managing Orchards
28th March 2017:
Here in Malawi I have found it difficult at times to get employees to accept responsibility, stick to their task, take an interest and succeed.
On this visit I have selected these two ladies, Brenda and Irene to take on the task of managing not only this citrus orchard, but the mango one as well.
I have observed all of the above, but I'm also delighted with their ability to analyse and ask questions relating to the current issue of pest control.
Since we use no Chemical pesticides we constantly do battle with the plants we can find with some measure of success.
Our fruit is generally looking good and these girls are determined to keep it looking this way.
Willingness and interest in learning will be the key to their success
Well done Girls.
