Charge!

Peacefully chewing the cud, they were, but as I stopped to take a blip the brown bullocks decided to come and investigate - and their companions followed suit! See extra for the charge!
They came so fast, so I decided that leaning on the gate was not a good idea, and hastily withdrew!
The sunshine lasted all day. In the afternoon I went to Bookclub in a lovely house surrounded by a beautiful garden. After our discussion, and tea, we drifted out into the garden to enjoy the spring flowers and the sun!
It was so warm by then that I left my jacket behind when I walked home!
