Fore years old

We bought a bunch of clothes and summer paraphernalia for our impending trip to Portugal today.  Sunglasses, hats, dresses and summer shirts.  I’m not expecting clear blue skies but the weather should at least be +20C.
 
The drive back to Edinburgh wasn’t quite as good as the drive down.  The kids fell asleep almost instantly (5pm) but given that the clocks changed, the sun didn’t set until closer to 8pm.  In fact, it shone right into the little lady’s window, waking her up after an hour, who in turn then work the wee man up a short while later.  They were in fine fettle, chatting and singing away, demanding cuddles and food & drink while I navigated the A1.  The little lady fell back asleep about 15 minutes from home but her brother was awake to jump into Mama’s arms.
 
They’ll be tired in the morning.
